Sweet FAIL

This year, I wanted to focus my Lolita style to my first love, classic and casual country. When I first began to really research the fashion, the nice sunhats, and the floral prints were what drew me in. This was before the AP craze of OTL prints. The end of my first year in lolita made me lean towards the OTT Sweet styles, but I also felt like I was losing myself and if I kept going in that direction, I would soon end up posting a "Leaving Lolita Sale." I just don't want to do that. I feel that I'm still early in my Lolita fashion and want to get back on track with what I originally love, and truly feel happy in what I'm wearing.

I also realized at the same time, that I love sweet, the OTT sweet is adorable, but I need to learn how to balance it into who I really am. So in my mind, I began thinking, AP's binlding but sweet pastels, with touches of acessories, that can make it still OTT, but in a more subtle way that' it's more elegant than UBER cute. I want to build my wardrobe with pastels, sunhats, bonnets, flowers: loads and loads of flower prints--- anything that really says, hey I'm a Lolita but I'm myself as well!

Also, if you're a lurker, you notice that those that are popular on the EGL comm, have a somewhat solid style. You can see it, or, at least, the Lolitas I admire have a defined style, that is them! I really want to find my self within all the fluff, and I hope 2010 will help me :)

Last Week, I was suppose to go see my friend at UCLA, but couldn't :( So just wore lolita to run some errands. I wanted to try to slowly shift to the country side of the fashion, but failed. I ended up wearing all pink and sweet.

On the bright side, I was able to make some mini banana pancake sandwiches with Nutella in the middle. They were delicious!!! Maybe if there ever is a loli picnic, I should make some. What do you think?

My bunny seems to really like them as well!
